>

Nationals is in like eh...13 days?!?!but honestly...i dun feel v pressured...coz its gona be like another race....a very important race nevertheless....the ONE we've been whacking n sacrificing our JC life for....but does that mean after that we become non-nj canoeist? No way man....i mean maybe we'll not do competitve canoeing anymore....maybe we'll never wear a life-jacket again....maybe we'll not play sports anymore(hmm...doesnt sound possible...haha) BUT...we'll still always be a NJ canoeist.

There is this english song(yes...english...not jap...i do listen to other languages too you noe...)title: [It's the end of the road] by Matt Goss.its really good...anyone wana hear it juz ask...the chorus go something like this...
>

It's the end of the road
When something ends something begins
But now it's just the end of the road
When someone loses someone wins
But now it's just the end of the road
Don't get to fix if it doesn't break
But now it's just the end of the road
When you gotta leave makes you wana stay
I know,it's the end of the road
>

Its really nice...and it feels like the end of our canoeing chapter in NJ...but i guess this will just lead to another chapter in our lives...just that you must must bookmark this chapter and come back often to visit it...(or you could probably highlight my name for easy reference haha...)
>

twenty!
>
20 days left...feeling the burn...the excitement...the rarw-ness!Nationals may seem a great place to show juz how strong you are....but more importantly, its the place to show what NJ canoeing is all about...yes we have strong individuals...but what we truly have is everyone. No matter the stronger boat or the weaker boat in the event,or even reserves or pple not in the main team...it doesnt really matter...all we wana do is whack in training or in the race,in our respective events,be it our favourite event or our worst event...to contribute as much to the team.Who says 7 points deserves more respect than 1 point?it could be that final 1 point that makes the largest difference...Learn to trust your partner, learn to trust your craftmates, learn to trust your teamates.
>
At least, thats what I believe in
>
With every drop of blood...all our heart and soul...we will go the distance!

together.

Hi Juniors,

It's your senior, liyana here. I've just got a few things to say here so i'll keep it short and sweet. firstly, i'll apologise on behalf of the seniors for not coming down as much as possible to help out in trainings.

I know He's giving everyone a hard time now, blaming you for what he is experiencing right now. (and you still have your common tests and National's to cope with!) But its of the utmost importance that YOU STAY AS A TEAM. forget all your petty quarrels and differences. it DOES NOT MATTER. my senior once told me that as long as you remain as ONE, nothing can be too hard to handle.

my beloved juniors, its only 3 weeks more to your Nationals. all the more reason you should stand by each other, and finish this TOGETHER. you have to have faith in your abilities AS A TEAM. so from now on, no matter what happens, you WILL support each other during and outside of trng. juniors, seniors, guys and girls.

so there, thats all i wanted to say. i know and trust that all of you put in more than your best in training. i NEVER doubt that. so go for it my dear juniors. GO FOR IT. TOGETHER.
